iCreate is pleased to announce the success of it's first annual Arts and Crafts bazaar held in March 2009. By the grace of Allah, the community was able to come together to sell their works of art for a great cause! Collectively they raised $1,500 to support the victims of Gaza, through the Islamic Relief charitable organization.
 
  


Assalamu Alaikum, Peace Be Upon You

iCreate was launched in January 2009, by two Muslim sisters in the community who had a love for arts and a drive to help those in need. They decided to seek out artists in the community who shared the same desire to support various causes and charities through showcasing their unique talents and selling their arts and crafts. Through the development of iCreate Arts and Crafts Bazaar, they hope, with the help of Allah (swt), that local artisans will gain recognition, network with one another and gain the chance to help support great causes.

Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious; Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord; It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them. {Qur'an, 23:57-61}
